How do we talk, how do children learn?

We spend most of our time talking to each other. Some say that we spend up to 80% of our time in conversation. Altering the nature of conversations is the single most powerful way to bring about change, improved performance, greater productivity, manage challenging behaviour and deliver breakthroughs in the relationships we have with those we teach, our colleagues and managers.

The programme

The BTST© programme is aimed at parents, teachers, teaching assistants, managers and special needs leaders in schools and Pupil Referral Units.

BTST© offers you an innovative training programme as well as individual coaching, which:

Programme Structure

The structure of the programme is built on the belief that being a leader and a successful teacher demands great awareness of oneself, motivation to move forward and above all commitment and integrity, fostering compassion and inspirational leadership. The programme performs within the psychodynamics of the group and focuses on “person centred solutions” using coaching skills to respond and find solutions that work.

How the programme works

Each programme will cater for the institution’s individual needs.

If you want to make a difference to the life of your organisation, staff, pupils and management and form a real partnership, with a practical and thought-provoking talk, simply get in touch to begin a life changing conversation that will help you put effective strategies into practice which will deliver positive outcomes for yourself and your institution.

The Big Talk Small Talk Approach

The BTST© method is a very distinctive approach that causes a profound shift in thinking and encourages participants to understand and challenge the deeper issues that keep us from living a life that is joyful, rewarding and meaningful. It offers practical tools that we can use in our daily life and of those with whom we work and most importantly the children we teach.

The BTST© approach is one grounded in what it means to be human and acknowledges the importance of the conversations we have every day. Talking is the one distinctive element of being human.
